It couldn't have been more ironic.
The much-hyped Noida foray of the Delhi Metro on Thursday didn't actually take place the way it should have. Not in the real sense.
The VIP guests were there, so was the curious crowd and two spanking new Metro coaches were flagged off ceremoniously, but they didn't cross the border.
