Alleging that the state police implicated him in Bangalore's serial blast case, People's Democratic Party (PDP) chief Abdul Nasser Madani said that he prefers to surrender before the local court himself rather than getting arrested by the city police.

Madani told the media from his residence-cum-madrasa in Anwar Sheri, "Let the court take its own course on this issue."

He added that he does not want any untoward incident following his arrest and hence decided to approach the court himself.

Right moment

Meanwhile, a police team from the city has been camping in Anwar Sheri since one week with a non-bailable warrant, waiting for the 'right moment' to secure his arrest.
