Badminton and table tennis can be among the most engaging of spectator sports on television. The games are fast, the rivalries can be fierce, there is intense drama and some of the top players in both sports have skills equaled by few others. Yet, these two are among the least watched sports in India, a country where cricket, football, tennis, and motorsports take precedence for both advertising dollars as well as viewer mindspace.
