Army foils exfiltration bid in Uri, three held

The Indian Army has foiled an alleged exfiltration bid in Jammu and Kashmir's Uri sector by apprehending three individuals during an intelligence-based operation. Authorities said further investigations are underway to determine the circumstances and intent behind the attempted movement

The Army foiled an alleged exfiltration bid by apprehending three persons in Jammu and Kashmir’s Uri sector, officials said on Sunday. An operation was launched based on intelligence inputs on Saturday.

“Two individuals from Sopore apprehended by vigilant Chinar Warriors while attempting exfiltration in Uri Sector with inimical intent. Further probe is on,” the Chinar Corps said in a post on X.
