The State Investigation Agency (SIA) Kashmir on Wednesday carried out searches at nine locations across Jammu and Kashmir as part of its investigation into the 1990 killing of Kashmiri Pandit writer and social worker Sarwanand Koul Premi and his son, Virender Koul.

The case, which was initially registered at the Dooru police station in Anantnag, has now been taken up by the SIA as the agency continues efforts to establish the circumstances surrounding the decades-old killings.
