Ladakh: Magnitude 3.5 earthquake strikes Leh, Chamba also jolted

A magnitude 3.5 earthquake struck Leh in Ladakh at 8:25 am on Monday, according to the National Centre for Seismology. The tremor occurred at a depth of 120 km. Earlier the same morning, a magnitude 3.0 earthquake was recorded in Himachal Pradesh’s Chamba district

An earthquake of magnitude 3.5 struck Ladakh's capital, Leh, early Monday morning, reported the National Centre for Seismology (NCS).
Sharing details in a post on X, the seismic monitoring agency stated that the tremor occurred at a depth of 120 km at 8:25 AM Indian Standard Time (IST).
