With Maharashtra Advocate General Shreehari Aney's statement that Marathwada should be made a separate state sparking furore in the state legislature, a senior BJP minister today said he would probably be asked to resign.
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has decided to ask Aney to step down and an announcement is expected tomorrow in the House, the Minister said on condition of anonymity.
