Maharashtra weather update: IMD issues red and orange heatwave warnings for Akola, Wardha and Amravati

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday issued red and orange alerts for several districts in Maharashtra as heatwave to severe heatwave conditions are likely to persist in parts of the state.
According to the IMD, districts including Akola, Wardha and Amravati are expected to witness heatwave to severe heatwave conditions at a few places.
