Jaipur: A MiG-21 fighter jet of the Indian Air Force (IAF) crashed near Barmer in Rajasthan on Saturday, officials said. The MiG T-69 trainer aircraft took off from Uttarlai airbase near Barmer and it crashed after noon.
&ldquo;Both the pilots ejected safely. There was no reported damage to civil or service property,&rdquo; the Defence Ministry said in a statement. The aircraft was on a routine mission. A code of inquiry has been ordered into the incident.
