MNS, Shiv Sena activists thrash North Indians in Kolhapur after child's rape

Suspected MNS and Shiv Sena activists, armed with sticks, went on a rampage and targeted migrant workers, their shops and houses in Kolhapur after a two-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a labourer from Jharkhand.
Suspected Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) and Shiv Sena activists today attacked migrant workers from North India and ransacked their properties in adjoining Kolhapur district after a two-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a labourer from Jharkhand.
Two persons received minor injures when the activists, armed with sticks, went on a rampage and targeted migrant workers, their shops and houses in Laksyateerth Vasavth, the area where the rape incident took place yesterday, Police Control Room sources in Kolhapur told PTI by phone.
