Ramchandra Singh and his aides were reportedly kidnapped by Maoists from neighbouring Chhattisgarh. Singh and his supporters were returning home after a function when they were kidnapped. u00a0 "Singh was kidnapped from the Latehar district. Singh represented the Man-eka constituency in the dissolved state assembly and has been re-nominated from the seat for the forthcoming polls.
