No restriction on evening flight slot at city airport

The tug-of-war between the Indian Air Force (IAF) and civil aviation operators over relaxation of restrictions to operate flights during the peak evening slot at Lohegaon Airport has finally found middle ground.

Welcome move: Lohegaon Airport has begun operations gradually in the evenings, after the Indian Air Force began relaxing the no-fly restriction on civil aviation between 7pm and 10.30 pm three months ago. File pic
