Orissa HC appeals to avoid using 'My Lord', 'Your Lordship'

The then Chief Justice of India, Justice H.L. Dattu, in 2014, had made it clear that addressing the judges as 'Your Lordship' was not mandatory

The Orissa High Court has requested advocates to avoid addressing the court with honorific as 'My Lord' or 'Your Lordship'.

The High Court Chief Justice S. Muralidhar and Justice R.K. Pattanayak made this appeal to the advocates in the schedule business for the first working day of New Year 2022, on Monday.
