The Left rewrote history in Kerala on Sunday by becoming the first government to get a second term in four decades. The ruling LDF won a second consecutive term with over 90 seats and the BJP was wiped out. The UDF has won 41 seats.
Vijayan could become only the third chief minister in the state to be re-elected and the first to continue in office after completing a full term.
