Pune rape-murder case: Sunetra Pawar, Supriya Sule seek fast-track trial, harshest punishment

Politicians across Maharashtra have expressed shock and anger after a nine-and-a-half-year-old girl was allegedly raped and murdered in Pimpalwandi village of Pune’s Junnar taluka.
The incident has once again raised concerns over the safety of children in Maharashtra, with leaders demanding a speedy investigation, a fast-track trial, and the strictest punishment for the accused.
