Residents of Lakshadweep on Monday held an underwater protest while others staged a 12-hour hunger strike outside their homes, demanding recall of the islands’ Administrator Praful Khoda Patel for his ‘anti-people’ measures.
Protesters, including kids and women, demanded the alleged draconian laws to be revoked. They allege the new reforms are against the interest of the people of islands.
