Ajay Aggarwal (name changed) was thrilled after he got such a message while surfing porn sites. The 27-year-old businessman couldn't refrain himself from clicking on the message. But soon he realised that he had been fooled. To meet the hot date near his residence, Aggarwal, who runs a family business in east Delhi, spent Rs 10,000 ($200). However, the link took him to another adult friend-finder site. "I was lured by the message showing beautiful girls, which was linked to an adult friend-finder site. I made a payment of Rs 10,000 ($200) through my PayPal account to register myself. But I realised I had been duped, as I couldn't find any of the girls," said Aggarwal. He further said, "Many porn sites have pop-ups on the extreme right of the screen highlighting faces of foreign girlsu00a0 saying that they are in Delhi. Some of the websites even mention local areas like Vasant Kunj, Narela, Gurgaon, Noida, Model Town etc." But Aggarwal is not alone. Rajat Bhandari, who hails from Ahemdabad, said, "I was addicted to online adult dating. While surfing some sites, I received a message to date local girls. I spent Rs 3,000 to register and later paid another Rs 10,000 to get the list of girls. But everything was in vain. I didn't find any girl," he said. Interestingly, these websites use IP address tracers that enable them to find out the location of the user and accordingly, the automated machine mentions the user's locality on the site. Cyber crime expert Sunny Vaghela said, "It is very easy for the website moderator to put a scrip which can trace the IP address and get the location of the user in seconds. With the IP address tracer one find out the location and accordingly place an advertisement." He said, "Such websites make good money. One can also add a Google map which shows the location to make it look more authentic."
