Spiritual leader Sathya Sai Baba's condition is stable, though he continues to be on a ventilator, doctors attending on him said Wednesday.

The doctors said at a news conference here Wednesday evening that the 85-year-old godman was suffering from multi-organ dysfunction but was responding to treatment. He was still on CRRT (continuous renal replacement therapy) to help his respiratory and kidney functions.
