The sudden strike by the non-teaching staff – peons and lab assistants – at one of Mumbai’s premier colleges has left the students in the lurch with the HSC board exams just around the corner.

The students of the science faculty, who had arrived at the college on Wednesday to give their practical exams in mathematics, chemistry and physics, will now have to wait till a while to give their examinations.
