This season, change is the mantra for media students at Sophia Polytechnic, Mumbai. What's On dropped in at an editing session of one of their documentaries, for a preview of what's to come

It's that time of the year when post-graduate students from the Social Communication Media Course (SCM) at Sophia Polytechnic, spend hours readying their projects for their annual media exhibition. As they add finishing touches to their videos, getting them to pay attention to our questions is quite a task. They've spent six months thrashing out ideas, shooting, editing and packaging their documentary films and advertisements, all dealing with social issues. Wedged somewhere in between the frenzy, was a trip to Madhya Pradesh, that's spawned photographs which will be displayed at the event.
