A day after Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar hit out at Narendra Modi, making it clear that he was unacceptable as an NDA candidate for Prime Minister, Dhawal Shah tweeted: ‘Kumar and Modi fighting for a BJP candidate in 2014 polls. No two tigers can be in the same den. BJP should have learnt this early.’ IndiaFirst had a question: ‘Why are people comparing the lion Modi to opportunist communal cat Kumar? How can you compare a roar to a meow?’ And Sanjay Jha weighed in with this: ‘Nitish knows he will never be forgiven by secular Bihar for giving communal BJP a toehold. Reports of former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak being critically ill and close to death prompted a flurry of tweets, none of them particularly positive. Megan Amram, for instance, tweeted: ‘Silver lining of Hosni Mubarak’s death — another Candle In The Wind’. Carlos Latuff added: ‘Mubarak may be clinically dead, but his legacy is clinically alive.’ According to John Fugelsang, ‘If USA had known Hosni Mubarak was so corrupt, we would have totally outsourced our torture to another pro-West dictator.’ Blogs of War added: ‘It’s official. Mubarak has now died more times on Twitter than Muammar Gaddafi.’ And from David Kenner: ‘Mubarak declared clinically dead, but I'm pretty sure an Egyptian court can still overturn this.’
