Lend an ear to Bangalore's gallery directors and curators, discuss the pros and cons of buying art at the Speaker sessions. Don't miss this chance of rubbingu00a0 shoulders, or must we say, rubbing those brush strokes with famed artists and curators of the likes of Suresh Jayaram, Neha Jiandani, Curator and Manager, Gallery Blue Spade, Vivek Poonacha, Director Maya Art Gallery, Sara Arakkal, Curator and Director, Galerie Sara Arakkal, Renu George, Director Gallery Time And Space and art historian and consultant, Lina Vincent Sunish.u00a0

Art is not only about canvas and paint as this festival proves on Tuesday evening. UB City mall plays host to Art Bengaluru's very own film festival, screening five short films from Bangalore's filmmakers.u00a0

The first film is a documentary by Paresh Hazra, followed by footage in 8mm entitled 'These Old Frames' by Tahireh Lal. Smriti Mehra brings us 'Neerinakallu', whilst the vignette 'Dead Beat' was shot at one of Bangalore's oldest meat markets, the final film, by Jyotika, 'Samvada' (Conversations) involves small site construction workers and their families in Bangalore.
