Traffic snarl on E-way as container turns turtle at Khandala ghat

After a container turned turtle at Khandala ghat section yesterday, traffic on the Pune-Mumbai Expressway was disrupted for about two hours.

While seven people sustained injuries in the accident, no casualty was reported. According to police, the container (MH 04 FU 377) was going towards Mumbai, and the driver lost control over the vehicle while taking a sharp turn. As the container turned turtle, a Tata Sumo car -- coming towards Pune -- rammed into it.
