A father-son doctor duo get together to showcase their images of the continent, in their exhibition titled paradise found

We believe Dr Mukesh Batra when he tells us that it is his fascination with nature that urges him to capture sunsets, sunflowers, valleys and wildlife in his photographs.

Though, it's hard to ignore the potential therapeutic benefits of the tranquil images shot by him.

"My son Akshay favours architecture," Mukesh points out, adding that family holidays are never used to pursue their passion.

"Getting those shots often means having to wake up at odd hours and travelling to distant locations, so it would totally defeat the purpose of a family holiday," Mukesh explains.

Looking at a photograph taken in the south of France, it's difficult to imagine the hardships behind it. There's one taken in Vienna, which looking at you believe you can almost hear Maria and the Von Trapp children singing.

Given that airfares aren't low enough to make it feasible to travel the globe on a regular basis, solace can be found in these images, priced between Rs 1,000 to Rs 10,000. A trip to Europe at a fraction of the cost? Not a bad deal, at all!

Proceeds from the photography exhibition will go towards the Happy Home School for the Blind and People for Animals NGO.
