Continuous heavy rainfall has led to a flood-like situation in Prayagraj district, Uttar Pradesh, severely disrupting daily life due to waterlogging and overflowing rivers, reported the ANI.

In Karela Bagh, one of the worst-hit areas, residents were seen wading through knee-deep water, while one man was spotted using a boat to commute to work. He explained that the flooding began around 8 am and was caused by the overflowing Sasur Khaderi river.

“It’s extremely difficult to move around... water has entered homes, and it’s still raining,” he said, according to the ANI.
