Launching an indirect blistering attack on Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for obstructing the party’s biggest public outreach ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’, Congress’ Pawan Khera labeled the Yatra a ‘Yagya’ and further asserted that forces who are creating obstacles in the ‘Yagya’ are called ‘Rakshasa’. The leader also demanded security for the Yatra, as it is entering sensitive areas of Punjan, J&K, Delhi.
In a letter to Union home minister Amit Shah, Congress general secretary (organisation) KC Venugopal said that Rahul was not provided adequate security cover in Delhi. “And now we are going to the sensitive state of Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir, proper security arrangements should be put in place,” demanded Congress leader Pawan Khera at a press conference here.
