The Apple co-founder, who teamed up with Steve Jobs to revolutionise home computers, remarkably claimed he doesn&rsquo;t have broadband Internet service at his Los Gatos, California, pad. <img alt="" src="/imagedata/2012/may/woz.jpg" style="width: 400px; height: 266px; " /> Disconnected: Steve Wozniak speaking to engineers during Woz Live in Sydney yesterday revealed that he relied on smartphones to access the Internet. pic/afp &ldquo;I don&rsquo;t have broadband at my home,&rdquo; Wozniak told stunned attendees at a business forum in Perth, Australia. &ldquo;I, Steve Wozniak, don&rsquo;t have broadband at my home.&rdquo; The computer whiz explained that broadband service to his Silicon Valley home comes through only one source, tied to a local cable TV monopoly. &ldquo;Broadband is a monopoly in my town &mdash; that means you can get it from a cable company, but I don&rsquo;t have cable,&rdquo; he said. &ldquo;And so I can&rsquo;t get broadband in my house.&rdquo; Travelling in Australia as part of his Woz speaking tour, Wozniak said he relies on smartphones to access the Internet.
