The G20 leaders had a working dinner, featuring the best of British food, in Downing Street on the eve of crunch talks at the global summit.

The group travelled from a reception hosted by the Queen at Buckingham Palace, where they were able to mingle in the hours before one of the most important world meetings in decades got underway.

As their partners dined next door at No 11, the leaders sat down at No 10 to enjoy a menu chosen by celebrity chef Jamie Oliver.
