Indonesia will ban children under the age of 16 from using social media platforms starting March 28. The restriction will apply to major platforms including YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Threads, X, Bigo Live and Roblox as part of efforts to strengthen online safety for minors

Indonesia is set to ban social media for children under 16. Kids under the age will no longer have accounts on digital platforms, including YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Threads, X, Bigo Live and Roblox starting March 28.
