London: Russian billionaire Yuri Milner and a group of scientists, including Stephen Hawking, on Monday launched a 10-year project which would harness some of the world's largest radio telescopes to search for intelligent life in the universe.

The Breakthrough Initiatives consists of two projects -- Breakthrough Listen and Breakthrough Message, Xinhua reported.
