New York: Twitter users worldwide were left clueless early Monday when their timelines on the micro-blogging site suddenly went blank for a brief period, media reports said.

At around 10 a.m., Twitter reportedly went down for a few minutes when timelines - which display Twitter updates - of many users 'disappeared' across the world.
