Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has issued a stern warning to the United States and Israel against any potential ground operation inside Iranian territory, reported the ANI.

In a statement, the IRGC cautioned that any invading forces would face severe consequences, urging foreign governments not to risk the lives of their soldiers.

The IRGC's statement specifically criticised Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu, accusing them of misleading their citizens and escalating tensions through what it described as false narratives about the conflict, the news agency reported.

It also appealed directly to the American public, warning them of the potential impact of the conflict both at home and abroad.

Reports of possible military deployment

According to news reports, the Pentagon is considering deploying elements of the 82nd Airborne Division to the Middle East. This could include command units and ground forces, with possible operations being discussed in areas such as Kharg Island, as per the ANI.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps claimed it has carried out missile strikes on multiple locations across Israel as part of ongoing military operations. It said more than 70 sites were targeted using various missile systems.

Locations reportedly affected include Tel Aviv, Haifa, and Dimona, according to the ANI.

Escalating military activity

According to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, over 700 missiles and 3,600 drones have been launched at American and Israeli targets since the conflict began. It also claimed its air defence systems have intercepted more than 200 enemy aircraft and missiles during the attacks, reported the ANI.

These claims have not been independently verified.

Iran rules out negotiations

Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said the country would continue its policy of “resistance” and ruled out any negotiations or ceasefire without firm guarantees, reported the ANI.

Speaking to state media, he stated that no talks are currently underway and that Iran’s position remains firm despite diplomatic outreach from regional countries.

The situation continues to develop, with rising tensions between Iran, the United States, and Israel. Diplomatic efforts appear limited, and concerns are growing over further escalation in the region, the news agency reported.
