A high-ranking Russian general has been killed in a violent car bombing in Moscow, triggering a full-scale murder investigation and fueling speculation about who orchestrated the attack. Lieutenant General Fanil Sarvarov head of the Kremlin’s Operational Training Department was targeted in what authorities are calling a calculated parking-lot ambush in the city’s southern district. The explosion tore through his white vehicle, ripping off doors, mangling the frame, and leaving debris scattered across the apartment complex lot. Sarvarov was rushed to the hospital but later died from his injuries, according to Russia’s Investigative Committee. WATCH
