The BMC says only half of the pothole complaints received this monsoon were genuine, with the road concreting drive expected to cut repair costs by 45 per cent across Mumbai.

The BMC conducted a surprise inspection of Mata Ramabai Ambedkar Maternity Home and Smt. Divaliben Mehta (Maa) General Hospital in Chembur, reviewing patient care, staffing, hospital infrastructure, digital healthcare systems and directing officials to expedite repair and renovation work
