Wildlife experts have expressed concern over a growing number of roadkills in Pune's ecologically sensitive Maval region as monsoon tourism peaks. Snakes, mammals, birds, amphibians and reptiles are increasingly falling victim to speeding vehicles, with 28 Shieldtail snakes found dead along a 100-metre stretch in Lonavala's Raywood area.
