Recently, in UP’s Amroha, seven coaches of a goods train derailed on July 20, followed by another incident in Rajasthan’s Alwar where three wagons derailed on July 21. Earlier, a mishap in WB’s Darjeeling and another in UP’s Gonda involving the Dibrugarh Express led to fatalities and injuries. Additionally, a goods train derailed in Gujarat’s Valsad on July 19, causing disruptions in rail services. These incidents have raised concerns, with opposition questioning the government about the consecutive train mishaps nationwide.

Alwar-Mathura goods train derailed on the Mathura-Alwar railway track early Sunday morning, July 21st. The incident involved three coaches and occurred around 2:30 am. Fortunately, no casualties were reported. The derailed train caused alarming scenes, which quickly spread on social media. According to ADRM Jaipur Manish Goyal, the derailment took place on a side line of the yard and did not affect the Delhi-Alwar main route. By 9 am, the track was cleared, allowing normal railway operations to resume. Authorities swiftly responded to the incident, ensuring minimal disruption despite the dramatic visuals of the derailment circulating widely online.

A couple from Jaipur, Tabrez and Farha who along with their two children had gone to visit Jammu & Kashmir were injured in a firing by terrorists at Pahalgam in Anantnag district of Jammu & Kashmir. Farha, the woman who suffered the injury came forward and shared her scary encounter with the terrorists. "My husband and I went to Kashmir on 13th May. On 18th May, when we reached our hotel, we were shot at by terrorists. While I was trying to protect my son from fire, I got injured. My relatives picked us up and took us to the hospital. Rajasthan CM from here helped us a lot. My husband's eyes have got damaged and he cannot see now. I underwent shoulder surgery. I request the PM to help us with eye donation." Watch video.

The first phase of Lok Sabha Elections is all set to take place on 19th of April. Ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections, all the party and party members are busy campaigning in full swing. Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a roadshow Rajasthan’s Dausa on April 12. The roadshow holds an important move of the BJP to repeat the Assembly elections results stats. The Home Voting for first phase of Lok Sabha election began in Rajasthan on April 5. The home voting facility announced by Election Commission of India has been extended to senior citizens above 85 years of age and voters with over 40 percent disability. In Jaipur Lok Sabha constituency, a total of 3,632 eligible voters, including 3,134 voters above 85 years of age and 498 voters with more than 40 percent disability, have applied for home voting facility. In Jaipur Rural Lok Sabha constituency, a total of 3, 971 eligible voters, including 3,130 voters above 85 years of age and 841 voters with more than 40 percent disability, have applied for home voting facility. In the first phase home voting facility will be provided till April 13 from morning 7 AM to 6 PM. Under the second phase home voting facility will be provided for absentee voters on 15th April and 16th April. Special polling teams have been assigned for Home voting facility. Each polling team includes two polling officers, one micro observer, one policeman and one videographer.

During a public rally in Rajasthan's Churu on April 4th, Prime Minister Narendra Modi revisited the memory of the 'Balakot airstrike' before reciting his renowned poem "Saugandh mujhe is mitti ki, main desh nahi mitne dunga." He reminisced about being in Churu at the time of the airstrike on February 26th. “When I came to Churu on 26th February 2019, at that time the country had carried out an air strike in Balakot. We had taught a lesson to the terrorists. A massive train accident took place near Ajmer today. Passengers sustained minor injuries after Sabarmati Express collided with a goods train on March 18. The incident occurred at midnight near Madar station in Ajmer district. However, no casualties have been reported so far in the incident. Several passengers sustained minor injuries and least four coaches and the engine of Sabarmati Express train got derailed. The reason behind the train derailment is yet to be ascertained. BJP has faced a major setback in Haryana. BJP leader and Lok Sabha MP from Hisar, Brijendra Singh joined Congress on March 10 ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2024. Brijendra joined the party in the presence of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge. Brijendra took to X and wrote that he resigned because of compelling political reasons. Brijendra Singh also said that there is a possibility of other BJP members joining Congress in Haryana. "I have resigned from the primary membership of BJP, due to compelling political reasons.
