Fresh Israeli strikes have hit Gaza, with the IDF saying it eliminated Hamas naval squad commander Osama Naim Hamdi Shamlakh in Gaza City. The military also says three armed Hamas operatives were killed in a separate operation in northern Gaza. Meanwhile, Palestinian officials report that Israeli strikes in Jabalia killed several people, including the director of the Jabalia police station. The latest attacks come as tensions continue despite the ceasefire.  

US President Donald Trump has made a series of sweeping claims about Iran's military and political leadership, dramatically escalating his rhetoric as tensions between Washington and Tehran continue to rise. In a fresh statement, Trump claimed that Iran's military has been "gutted," alleging that its navy, air force, air defence network and senior military leadership have been effectively wiped out. He further asserted that Iran's "best leaders have been killed," describing what he portrayed as a devastating blow to the country's military command structure. The US president also made controversial remarks about Iran's leadership, claiming that Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is "gone" and alleging that Mojtaba Khamenei, widely viewed by some analysts as a possible successor, is "90&#37 gone." These comments come amid reports that Mojtaba has been recovering from injuries sustained in an alleged airstrike after missing several high-profile public appearances and funeral ceremonies. WATCH
