With the Coronavirus lockdown extended till May 3, the APMC market in Vashi is set to reopen in a phased manner from April 15 onwards. In a meeting held on Monday, it was decided that the onion, potato and garlic and vegetable markets will reopen amid strict supervision.
The Agricultural Produce Market Committee, APMC, will be observing a 24-hour closure for cleaning and for spraying disinfectants in the fruit and vegetable market. The cleaning drive will gradually be spreading to other units like Onion and Potato market, Grain market and Food grains market. Watch the video to know more.
