Researchers from Mumbai's Thackeray Wildlife Foundation have discovered a new flowering tree species in Arunachal Pradesh's Upper Subansiri district. Named Mitrephora rashmiae after Rashmi Thackeray, the rare species belongs to the custard apple family and is currently known from a single tree in the wild.
