Riteish Deshmukh's historical drama, Raja Shivaji, has become the highest-grossing Marathi film of all time, beating Nagraj Manjule's 2016 film Sairat. The film has so far collected a worldwide gross total of Rs 114.80 crore

Karuppu opened to a respectable Rs 14.4 crore net on Day 1 despite its last-minute release delay. Strong fan celebrations and positive turnout helped the film clock a worldwide gross of Rs 20.66 crore
