Mumbai civic chief Ashwini Bhide inspected the ongoing construction of the Tunnel Aquarium during her visit to the Byculla zoo on Thursday, where she also reviewed various projects and initiatives being undertaken at the facility

The Byculla zoo remains closed every Wednesday as part of its weekly holiday. However, according to the BMC resolution, if a public holiday falls on a Wednesday, the garden and zoo will remain open to the public on that day and will be closed the following day
