Chidambaram said it took 30 days and a seven-hour protest by Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi for the Delhi Police to register the complaint

The court also asked the Delhi government to ensure the best possible medical treatment for those who sustained pellet injuries during the protest, including petitioners Prashant Kumar and Sheikh Irshad Mansoori
