Mumbai LIVE: Local Shiv Sena leader killed in road accident in Beed district

Mumbai News LIVE Updates: A 50-year-old Shiv Sena leader from Maharashtra's Beed district was killed when a car collided with his motorcycle on Sunday evening, police said. The accident took place near Dakephal in Kaij tehsil on the Ahmednagar-Ahilyanagar National Highway, they said. Victim Chandrakant Shahaji Ingale, Kaij tehsil vice-president of the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena, was returning home from a religious event at the time. Mumbai News LIVE Updates: Power supply was disrupted across several parts of Mumbai’s western suburbs on Friday evening following a tripping issue, Adani Electricity said in a statement. Areas including Andheri West, Goregaon and Malad were affected, with residents reporting outages and internet disruptions. The power utility said its teams are working to restore supply at the earliest. Versova resident Hitendra Pachkale said there has been no electricity supply in his area since 7.30 pm, adding that Seven Bungalows has also been affected.
