The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) say they have uncovered and destroyed an underground Hezbollah command centre hidden beneath a construction materials factory in southern Lebanon. According to the IDF, the 55-metre-long tunnel complex was located just 300 metres from a UNIFIL position and included living quarters, an underground shaft, and a cache of weapons. Israeli forces say the operation was carried out by the 401st Brigade and the elite Yahalom Unit as part of ongoing operations inside the security zone along the Israel-Lebanon border.

United States and Saudi Arabia carried out joint airstrikes against Iran-backed armed groups in Iraq. According to U.S. and Saudi officials, the strikes were launched in retaliation for drone attacks on Saudi oil facilities allegedly originating from Iraq. Iran-backed Popular Mobilisation Forces say at least 20 of their members were killed and 32 wounded in attacks on multiple bases. The operation marks the first major U.S. military action since President Donald Trump suspended the bombing campaign against Iran and the first publicly acknowledged joint combat operation between Washington and Riyadh in the current conflict.
