Congress party filed a complaint with the Election Commission against Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar for not disclosing an FIR in his affidavit. Congress alleged that while filing nominations for the Rajya Sabha, Parrikar failed to mention the FIR in his affidavit submitted to the Election Commission.

Union Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar on Monday said Special Forces have been deployed in Gurdaspur and added that the counter insurgency forces are already there.
