Bharti Airtel added 31.63 lakh users during the month. The additions included 29.89 lakh mobile subscribers and 1.73 lakh fixed-line connections. Reliance Jio during the month added 22.91 lakh subscribers, comprising 21.46 lakh in mobile segment and 1.44 lakh in fixed line segment

Samta Nagar Police have arrested two men for allegedly stealing 153 metres of underground MTNL cable worth around Rs 9 lakh from Kandivli East. Police said the accused prepared and circulated a fake MTNL work order to execute the theft. Both have been remanded to police custody till July 29.
