According to data released by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) on Tuesday, the Telecom subscriber base expanded to 134.8 crore in June, largely led by Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio who added new subscribers, a PTI news report stated.

Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio's new additions

Bharti Airtel added 31.63 lakh users during the month. The additions included 29.89 lakh mobile subscribers and 1.73 lakh fixed-line connections. Reliance Jio during the month added 22.91 lakh subscribers, comprising 21.46 lakh in mobile segment and 1.44 lakh in fixed line segment.
