BJP, Congress Tussle Over Bharat Jodo Yatra: ‘Bothered About One family’

BJP, Congress Tussle Over Bharat Jodo Yatra: ‘Bothered About One family’

As Congress’ biggest public outreach ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ reached National Capital on December 24, Tussle over the ‘Yatra’ between BJP and Congress has already begun. The top leaders from both parties have been lashing out at each other over the march. As the Yatra entered Delhi, Union Minister Anurag Thakur again slammed Congress and Rahul Gandhi, saying that Congress is bothered about only one family, not the country. Hitting back to his remarks on Bharat Jodo Yatra, Congress MP and former Finance Minister P Chidambaram said, “Anurag Thakur might even say Goli Maro.” “It won't be surprising if Anurag Thakur says 'Goli Maro' which he said earlier. Look at the tremendous response to Bharat Jodo Yatra and the way people are gathering. He is a big minister, we are small people,” P Chidambaram told ANI. Amid calls by the Central Government to follow COVID protocol, thousands of people joined the Congress' Bharat Jodo Yatra as Rahul Gandhi marched through Delhi. While addressing party workers and leaders, Rahul Gandhi reiterated that the motive of his yatra is to open a 'mohabbat ki dukaan' (shop of love) amid a 'nafrat ka bazaar' (market of hatred).#BharatJodoYatra #AnuragThakur #PChidambaram

The minister added that an improvement in investment after the reforms will help growth recover to 8 per cent, even though it would be "premature to talk about 9 per cent growth".
