US President Donald Trump sparks attention with a crude joke about Republican Senator Jon Husted during a rally in Ohio. Trump says he took a closer look at Husted after learning about his college football career, delivering the line: “I looked at his ass.” The remark raises questions about presidential decorum and the boundaries of political humour. Husted played defensive back at the University of Dayton and was part of the 1989 Division III championship team. Trump also suggests that Husted's football background could help his standing with Ohio voters.

The Trump administration has proposed ending the 60-day grace period available to certain H-1B and other temporary foreign workers after they lose their jobs in the United States. Under the current system, eligible workers can use the 60-day window to find a new employer willing to sponsor them, change their immigration status or make arrangements to leave the US. The proposed change could have a major impact on Indian technology professionals, who represent a large share of H-1B workers in the United States.
