Hazare alleged that several provisions introduced under the new rules dilute the spirit of the Right to Information Act and make it more difficult for citizens to access information from public authorities

According to the civic body, citizens must file their complaints at the municipal corporation headquarters or at the Citizen Facilitation Centre in two copies at least 15 days in advance. Each application must be accompanied by Form-1(B), which will be available at the facilitation centre
